Why You Should Buy Your Patek Philippe Nautilus on nft.luxfi.io
Leaving no chance for doubt, the Patek Philippe Nautilus watch has established itself as a globally-venerated, highly-sought-after timepiece.
The first step is knowing what to buy; then, knowing where to buy it.
The storied history of the Patek Philippe Nautilus (known in watch circles as the 5711), are well-known by horological die-hards and now, the luxury and celebrity communities have began favoring certain models of the 5711 at events like the Super Bowl and NBA playoffs.
Shopping for a Nautilus is as easy as browsing e-commerce stores like LuxFi where one can find a wide range of 5711s available for purchase.
Moving the dial: discover the Tiffany Blue Nautilus, the talk of the town
And now, one of the most coveted watches in the world is the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1A-018 (with Tiffany dial), having re-established the Nautilus as something so rare that only celebrities are able to acquire it.
First worn publicly by Jay-Z, the Tiffany Blue 5711 is the final model of the Nautilus that will ever be released, after having been retired in 2021 after years of waitlisting turned the watch into a crowd favorite (albeit an utterly unattainable one).
Retired but not forgotten: LVMH & the 5711’s continued legacy
Coming in 40mm, stainless steel, the 5711/1A-018 model is the much-coveted watch everyone is talking about. The reasons behind the retirement were detailed in the New York Times interview with Patek Philippe’s president Thierry Stern.
The announcement resulted in two final versions of the 5711, a green-dialed 5711 that premiered at Watches and Wonders; and culminated in a surprise collaboration between LVMH and Tiffany to release 170 blue-dialed, Tiffany-stamped Nautilus 5711/1A-018 timepieces that have now been worn by celebrities like Lebron James, Leonardo DiCaprio and others.
The Nautilus 5711/1A-018 has inspired the blue-dialed theme in similar luxury watches such as the turquoise-dial Oyster Perpetual Day Date 36, released in 2020 by Rolex and seen recently worn by Drake.
You can browse various versions of Nautilus luxury watches on LuxFi Marketplace.
